Bexhill Cemetery was opened by the Corporation in 1901 and covers 34 acres. Building meriting local listing include the chapel (1902, designed by WH Alton and built by Frederick William Parker - built of flint cobbles with ashlar dressings, stepped lancets and four-light window to the east with Geometric tracery), the lodge and the gates and railings.
