Three-stepped Portland stone base surmounted by plinth and obelisk. Inscription on sides of the plinth. Angel of victory with dramatic outstretched wings in bonze holding wreath aloft in her left hand and lowered sword of justice in her right hand, placed in front of obelisk. Brick wall surround the memorial. The memorial commemorates all the armed services in both world wars recording 389 killed in WWI and 116 in WWII. Unveiled on 12th December 1920 by Brigadier General H O’Donnell.
