Rex was a dog and this stone water trough was donated in his memory in 1901. Horses would drink from the top and dogs from the bottom. It was located at the junction of De La Warr Road and Hastings Road but later moved to the Manor House in April 1957, it can be now be found adjacent to the car park public conveniences. | |||
