Built on land forming part of the former Pages Estate. Although the gap was formally laid out in 1923 it wasn't tarmacked until 1959.<br />

A new trackway was commissioned by Stars Organisation for Spastics (located at Colwall Court) and built by the Royal Engineers 36 Field Squadron, opened July 1964. It was opened by comedian Harry Secombe and the Countess of Westmoreland.<br />
<br />
The Home closed in 1980.<br />
